Summary: This introductory course is designed to have students learn the basic skills for emergency medical responders. The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course will include comprehensive training in oxygen therapy and delivery, essential airway adjuncts, positive pressure ventilation, bleeding control, extremity splinting, and spinal immobilization.
