Summary:

The Tahoe Transportation District, in collaboration with the Town of Truckee, has asked TTUSD to write a letter of support for the TTD grant application through the CA State Transportation Agency’s Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Improvement Program (TIRCP). This program provides grants from the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) to fund transformative capital improvements that will modernize CA’s intercity, commuter, and urban rail, bus, and ferry systems to reduce greenhouse gases, vehicle miles traveled, and congestion.
