Summary:

Date and time of the annual organizational meeting must be selected by the governing board at the regular meeting held immediately prior to December 9, 2022, unless otherwise provided by a policy or bylaw of the governing board. This year the 15-day window period established by statute to hold the annual organizational meeting between December 9, 2022 and December 24, 2022. Tahoe Truckee Unified School District's organizational meeting will be on December 14, 2022, falling within the scope of the time described in Education Code 35143.
