Summary:
|
In 1985, the second Wednesday in May was designated for the annual observance of California's "Day of the Teacher." This year, Wednesday, May 4, 2021, has been designated as "California's Day of the Teacher" and May 3-7, 2021, as "Teacher Appreciation Week."
The teachers of the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District continue to provide valuable service to students, other staff members, and the community. The teachers have a direct effect on the quality of the District's educational program. Therefore, recognition of teachers is most deserved.
