CalSTRS form SR1897 allows a retired teacher to Request Service Requirement Exemption should they decide to re-enter the work force with a school district. Michele Smiljanich, a retired teacher, has expressed interest in a position as a substitute teacher. In order to accept the position, CalSTRS requires a Resolution approved by the district. |
